Enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast, after drive to Bwindi through Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Southern sector- Ishasha. Enjoy a 2-3 hours’ game drive which comes with ultimate view of the relaxed tree climbing lions, buffaloes, elephants, birds and more then, you have picnic lunch before proceeding to have evening refreshments at Bwindi.

Travel time: 4 hours

A tasty breakfast early, then transfer to Bwindi National Park offices as directed by your gorilla permit you pre-booked. Meet the park official for briefing- have brief introduction about Bwindi, gorilla trekking rules and gorilla families will be allocated to you. At 8:00am with assigned park guide, begin your long adventure 2-6 hours trekking through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest searching for mountain gorillas.

The trek to see gorillas also comes with view of other species and on finding the family of these massive apes, you have maximum of 1 hour to take pictures, learn about their behaviors. Lunch will be served at the lodge in case you didn’t carry some and then drive to Lake Bunyonyi for a boat ride and peaceful relaxation in the evening.
