Itinerary
Day 01 :
Welcome to Uganda & Transfer to Kibale National Park
Begin your safari with a 5–6 hour drive to Kibale National Park via the Mubende–Fort Portal route. Stop for lunch in Fort Portal, then proceed to Bigodi Wetland, a papyrus swamp where you’ll enjoy a nature walk. Look out for primates and birds such as the Great Blue Turacos. Later, head to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 02 :
Chimpanzee Trek & Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, proceed to Kanyanchu Visitor Center in Kibale National Park for a briefing at 7:00 a.m. At 8:00 a.m., begin a 2–4 hour walk with a park guide to see chimpanzees. Along the way, you may spot other primates such as colobus monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys, baboons, as well as butterflies and birds. Once you find the chimpanzees, you will spend one hour observing them and taking photos. Afterward, return for lunch and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 03 :
Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise – Queen Elizabeth
Start the day early with breakfast and head out by 6:00 a.m. for a game drive to spot wildlife. You may see elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards (if lucky), warthogs, waterbucks, bushbucks, and various bird species. After 2–3 hours of game viewing in the Kasenyi Plains, return for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and more birds.

Day 04 :
Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector. A brief en-route game drive will give you a chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a bush lunch along the way before checking in at your lodge in Southwestern Uganda.

Day 05 :
Gorilla Trekking, Lake Bunyonyi
After a hearty breakfast, head to the park offices for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. At 8:00 a.m., begin the actual trek, which may take 2–6 hours including one hour of close contact with a gorilla family. Learn about their behavior, take photos, and then return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 06 :
Canoe Trek, Batwa Cultural Visit

Day 07 :
Departure via Kigali
